10 + REASONS WHY PEOPLE QUESTION THE BIBLE Pt. 3

Looking deeper into Matthew we find in chapter 16 and verse 18 of the King James Version of the Bible also in red-letter print Jesus making a statement which said from the written words of Jesus Christ “and I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter and upon this rock I will build my Church.”

These writings of the words from Christ are in red print but do not seem to go along with the ideas or principles mentioned earlier in the writings from the book of Matthew. These are question that heaven a big impact on people’s decision to join a church that use the Christian Bible or practices the Christian Faith. Which verse is correct? What are we to believe? Who is this disciple called Peter? What do you do if you follow one of these concepts and then learn of the other?

Do we go with the first statement of Christ and not change one practice or law, to never heaven the thought of creating a Church for the Jewish people to become Christians? Is this to bring the gentiles not yet mentioned in this writing to a religion? Are we to take for granted that Peter will be the new leader of a faith and change the practice and laws? Or a better question maybe, does this mean that he can create and set new rules that may become Christian Church Law, Practices and Traditions that had not been discovered or thought of.

We will discuss traditions in another writing in an attempt to find truth and direction through the writings from the Bible to aid in a more fulfilling life and over standing of what is real. Could this be an open door for a new belief system? Why did Jesus change his mind? Going back to the before mentioned “till all be” Has all been done that needs to be done in order for this to take place. Is this just an information exchange in a teaching tool of Jesus to tell his disciples what to do when the time comes?

Was this some kind of a test to see if Peter would heaven stood worthy of this calling or to see this as an opportunity to implement the ideas he had offered to. Jesus the Christ earlier conversations. What comes next in this chapter will scare anyone who has followed the Christian religion and not necessarily studied or read the Bible for themselves with true over standing. When taking a deeper look into the words written, think deeply on what it could mean.

The founding of a new church with a new set of beliefs for a new religion that study from texts and realities used long before the Christian book known as the Bible was created or used. And is moreover an account of what has happened and a preview of what is to come. The Holy Bible, Practices Beliefs and Traditions were form after the formulation and foundation of the Christian Church.

Farther in chapter 16 we read where Jesus told his disciples what he was planning and his fate. In verse 21 of the King James Version of the Bible written in black begins reading with “from this time fourth began Jesus to show unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed and raised on the third day”.

These writings seem real clear and go along with the answer Jesus Christ gave in Matthew chapter 5 verse 17 where Jesus stated he was here to fulfill the law. Is the law the Plan passed down to Jesus from God and is the “till all be”? Christianity teaches that Jesus Christ was sent to earth by his Father, God the creator of all in heaven and on earth to show the way of and to life and life everlasting and die for the sins of man and mankind as part of it?

The fact that he told his disciples the next step in the plan for his life from God shows that his intent was to complete the task he was created and placed on earth for. What is or could be the true intent and purpose of Peter, one of the trusted disciples of Jesus Christ? Was all that is being told from the writings to take place beginning with his death?

Is there a part 2 to the plan that includes peter that we will never know? Watch, read, Peter took Jesus to the side and began to rebuke him saying in verse 22 of Matthew chapter 16 “Be it far from thee Lord” speaking of the fate that awaited him to complete his mission from The Highest God his Father and creator of us all. Peter was trying it seems to temp Jesus Christ into not fulfilling what God had planned for his son and the people of this earth.

Peter knows of the pure power of Jesus the Christ and Christ consciousness and was more than aware of the fact that Christ could change his fate at any time. Why would Peter want Jesus to defy the plan given to him by God? In verse 5 Peter states “this shall not be unto thee” and in verse 23 of Matthew 16 Jesus replied to Peter saying written in red-letter in the King James Version of the Bible. “Get thee behind me, Satan” “thou art an offense to me”.

Now what is anyone, everyone to think or feel when they go into the over standing of these words who may be reading or paging through the Bible to find that? What about the millions of devoted Christian living people who listen learn and live by what they have been taught through the tradition of the Christian Church?

There are two facts from these writings that stand out clearly .1st. Jesus is quoted as saying and we know this because the words were written in red ink “Get thee behind me, Satan” Does Jesus recognize Peter as Satan? 2nd “thou art an offense to me” Some things are just as there are and mean what they say and how its written convey through time. We are going to get real deep into what an offense to Jesus is and what he is really thinking about Peter. Until next time. Stay Safe and Be Blessed.
